Congratulations to mowl® on your 9th anniversary! I'm truly grateful to be involved once again in creating this special edition.

The small owl gazing into a mirror shaped like the number “9” represents mowl® at its founding, while the mature owl reflected in the mirror symbolizes the company’s growth over the past nine years—through milestones such as the opening of its physical store.

For the M and M-PCS editions, I illustrated a calm and generous expression, as if the “future self” seen in the mirror is gently encouraging who you are today.

And for the M Ti edition, the mature owl is shown breaking free from the mirror, spreading its wings and taking flight.

Raw is a pure silver finish that showcases the raw beauty of aluminum in its most honest form.

Its minimal appearance—where even the fine machining marks are part of its aesthetic—reflects both the precision of its cut and the confidence in its design.
Unpainted and uncoated, this finish embraces simplicity, relying solely on material and form to speak for itself.

The reason Raw continues to be loved lies in that very sense of space—an understated blank canvas full of potential.

For this edition, we carefully laser-engraved both sides of the uncoated Raw body in-house,
spending over an hour per side using the lowest output setting to preserve the purity of the surface.

This special engraving method, also used on the "M 8th Anniversary Edition" released in 2024, was developed through countless rounds of trial and error to match the unique properties of raw aluminum.
The result is a finish with a delicate, distinctive texture—unlike typical engraving.

Depending on how light hits the surface and the viewing angle, the logo may appear black, white, or somewhere in between—
a subtle, ever-shifting expression that makes each piece uniquely captivating.

Each piece has been carefully laser-engraved with great attention to detail.
However, please note that slight variations or minor fading in the logo may occur.
These are considered part of the product’s specifications and are not defects.

・M, which was born with the beginning of mowl, has evolved further.

On the occasion of mowl's 6th anniversary, we have made a minor update to "M", which has been used by many mowl users since its release in 2016 as the entry model of mowl.

The original M was developed based on the concept of "a yo-yo that still feels good to throw five years after its release," and even five years after its birth, it still exists as a symbolic mowl yo-yo without fading away.

As a minor update, the aluminum alloy material has been changed to A6061 material to enable more stable production.

In addition, the thumb grind spots are rounded and thicker than in previous lots.

Compared to the previous lot, the weight has been moved further outward, resulting in a more cohesive and defined core feel.
