To celebrate mowl®'s 9th anniversary, we proudly present the "M 9th Anniversary Edition".
The same commemorative artwork featured on the M is also applied to this M-PCS variant, combining three distinct materials:
polycarbonate for the body, aluminum for the central hub, and stainless steel for the rims—a true fusion of form and performance.

About M-PCS

The M was originally developed with a clear concept:
"A yo-yo that still feels satisfying to throw—even five years after its release."
Now, nearly eight years and three minor updates later, it remains a timeless flagship model that symbolizes the essence of mowl®.

The M-PCS is a long-awaited evolution of this concept—a “metal-rimmed plastic” model, commonly known in the community as a “metal-rim” yo-yo.
Carefully developed over an extended period, this model combines a polycarbonate body with stainless steel rims, delivering a refreshing plastic feel with the precision and stability of metal weight distribution.

Before its release, prototypes were tested and praised by players both in Japan and internationally.
Its carefully tuned balance between rim weight and body material creates a smooth, confident throw.

Congratulations on mowl®'s 9th anniversary! I'm truly grateful to be part of this meaningful edition again this year.

The small owl gazing into a mirror shaped like the number “9” represents mowl® at the time of its founding, while the mature owl reflected in the mirror symbolizes the brand’s growth over the past nine years—through milestones like opening a physical store.

For the M and M-PCS models, I illustrated a gentle, calm expression—like a future version of yourself seen through the mirror, quietly encouraging the present you.

And in the M Ti version, the mature owl breaks free from the mirror and takes flight—soaring into the future.
