About Paul Han

Paul Han began making his mark around 1997 in Hawaii, which was considered a major hub for yo-yo culture at the time.
In 1998, he joined the professional team THP (Team High Performance) and traveled to Japan nearly 10 times, playing a key role in promoting Hyper Yo-Yo across the country.

He became known for his powerful freestyle, combining Eurobeat music with acrobatic movements—earning top placements at major competitions.
Around 2004, Paul began competing in the 1A division, where he was highly praised for integrating acrobatic 2A elements into his 1A style.

His achievements include two podium finishes at the World Yo-Yo Contest, winning the 2006 U.S. Nationals, and placing 3rd in the International Division at the 2012 European Yo-Yo Championship.
Paul’s transition from 2A to 1A inspired players around the world and left a lasting impact on the evolution of yo-yo freestyle.
