M Throwback Edition / Blasted Silver

To commemorate mowl's 6th anniversary,
we’ve introduced a minor update to our long-standing entry model, “M,”
which has been a favorite among mowl users since its debut in 2016.

Originally developed around the concept of

“a yo-yo that still feels satisfying to throw even five years after its release,”

the iconic mowl M continues to hold its place as a timeless symbol of the brand —

even now, nearly five years since its debut.

While it has earned widespread support,

we decided to implement a minor update to ensure even more consistent and stable production.

One notable change is the thicker and rounder thumb grind spot,

offering improved comfort and control.

By shifting more weight toward the outer rims compared to the previous run,

the M now delivers an even more focused and solid feel.

While keeping the original design that balances comfort and practicality,

this updated version has been carefully refined to significantly enhance its core performance —

not only in terms of spin power and stability,

but also with improved glide and responsiveness, creating a uniquely smooth and versatile play experience.

This year’s THROWBACK event will be held at Party Space Chacara —
the very place where the signature model “Surveillance” by mowl®︎ Ambassador Daiki Tanaka
was first released, now widely recognized as one of mowl®︎’s flagship products.

On the first page of an aged scroll bearing the word “THROWBACK”,
the logo of the original 1st Surveillance and the year 2017 subtly peek through,
evoking a deep sense of nostalgia.

This special edition is a condensed reflection of time shared between
event host Mr. Iwata and mowl®︎ founder Eiji Okuyama —
a true THROWBACK limited release.

As sharp as an owl’s talons, as light as its soaring wings—
Shawty’s swift motion leaves a trace of impact that travels through the string.

It has become a new standard for mowl — a model embraced by players of all styles.
