As part of our efforts to support the recovery from the wildfire that struck the suburbs of Los Angeles on January 7, 2025, we will launch the M-PCS LA Edition pre-order on Friday, February 7, exclusively on the mowl Online Store.
The clear body offers a glimpse of the beautifully engraved Los Angeles skyline, while the face features intricately etched iconic LA landmarks, creating a striking three-dimensional effect. This edition comes in two colorways, inspired by Los Angeles’ legendary sports teams:

The product is currently in the manufacturing and inspection process at the factory and is awaiting delivery. However, in order to provide support to those in need as quickly as possible, we have decided to launch the pre-order in advance.
The estimated delivery period for this product is mid to late March.
Please note that this edition is limited in quantity, and pre-orders will close once the maximum capacity is reached.
Product Notes
- Minor imperfections such as slight scratches or color inconsistencies that do not affect performance are considered part of the product specifications.
- Due to the nature of polycarbonate material, slight variations in laser engraving, including faint or slightly burnt areas, may occur. These are within the expected specifications of the product.
- The M-PCS LA Edition will not be available at mowl Osaka or mowl partner stores.

The M-PCS is a gold-rim model released in August 2024 as a derivative of mowl's flagship model, "M."

The term "gold-rim" refers to models that feature a metal rim weight embedded in a plastic resin body.
After an extensive development process, the M-PCS was tested by players both in Japan and internationally. Their feedback was overwhelmingly positive, making this model highly anticipated upon its release.
In addition to the crisp and refreshing feel unique to a polycarbonate body, the M-PCS features stainless steel rims, achieving a meticulously balanced weight distribution between the rim and body.
The "M" was released alongside mowl’s founding, embodying the concept of a yo-yo that would remain enjoyable to throw even after five years. True to this vision, nearly five years since its debut, the M continues to stand as mowl’s iconic flagship model, retaining its timeless appeal.
Building upon the original design, which blends exceptional feel and practicality, we refined its construction to significantly enhance its core performance. Beyond increased spin power and stability, the improved design also enhances smoothness, maneuverability, and overall playability, creating a truly unique experience.
