The Long-Awaited Final Form.

Retaining Its Softness, Refining Its Core.

“Overgeneity” Has Finally Arrived.

Since the prototype was released in April 2025

as a bi-metal model developed specifically for technical tricks,

we have received countless inquiries about

mowl Ambassador Kenta Kushiro's signature model,

“Overgeneity.”

After a full year of refinement, the production version is finally complete.

The second production run will be available beginning Saturday, August 8.

“Overgeneity”

Designed for Kenta Kushiro

Diameter : 54.6 mm

Width : 47 mm

Weight : 67 ± 0.5 g

<About the Production Version of Overgeneity>

Overgeneity was developed as a derivative of Heterogeneity,

the signature model of mowl Ambassador Kenta Kushiro.

Despite its relatively narrow profile, the original Heterogeneity

established a character all its own through its powerful spin

and remarkable ability to hold its momentum.

Even four years after its release, it continues to receive strong support from players.

While carrying forward that lineage,

Overgeneity was developed to meet the demands of Kenta's current play style at an even higher level,

as a bi-metal model focused specifically on technical tricks.

<Evolution from Prototype to Production>

- Material Changes -

The most significant change in the production version of Overgeneity

is the material combination used for the body and rims.

From the beginning, one quality Kenta has consistently sought throughout the Heterogeneity Series

has been a “soft feel.”

That characteristic was equally essential to Overgeneity.

For that reason, the Overgeneity prototype released in April 2025

combined the gentle feel of A6061 aluminum

with titanium rims chosen to preserve that character.

For the production version, however, we began reconsidering the materials

in order to retain that softness while providing greater stability and practicality on stage.

A7075 aluminum was ultimately selected for its clearer, quicker response to movement

and its strong compatibility with Kenta's current play style,

while the rims were changed substantially from titanium to stainless steel.

- Optimized Body Weight Distribution -

For the production version of Overgeneity,

we spent considerable time refining the smallest details

to create a more defined core and greater stability without sacrificing its soft character.

With stainless steel rims, the conventional approach

is to concentrate more weight toward the outer edge to maximize spin power.

Overgeneity takes a different approach.

By carefully adjusting the proportion of aluminum in the body,

along with the placement and balance of the stainless steel rims,

we optimized the body's overall weight distribution

to achieve highly responsive, agile control.

The width has also been increased by 2 mm compared with the prototype.

This allows the model to take full advantage of its powerful spin

while providing a more forgiving and manageable feel in play.

<Carrying Forward the Heterogeneity Lineage>

The production version of Overgeneity carries forward the persistence, power,

and unmistakable presence of Heterogeneity,

while adding more agile handling and a clearer, more immediate response.

Its catch zone features a distinctive inverse profile,

a shape that clearly reflects its roots in the Heterogeneity lineage.

The inverse profile also helps preserve rotational speed from the initial throw,

creating the persistent, enduring spin characteristic of the Heterogeneity Series.

The production version of Overgeneity has reached a highly refined balance:

powerful, persistent spin combined with the agility

to respond instantly to even the smallest movements.

<A Message from Kenta>

The high-end model of the HG Series, “Overgeneity,” is finally complete.

I know it has been a long wait from last year's prototype to the official release,

but that time allowed us to refine every detail and create a product I can genuinely stand behind without compromise.

I'm incredibly happy that we can finally release it.

I also want to thank everyone who had the chance to try the prototype in person

and share their honest feedback with us.

Your input played a major role throughout the development process.

This model combines the power and stability of a heavyweight yo-yo

that stays composed even when pushed aggressively,

with handling that still feels intuitive and responsive.

It is heavy, yet it moves remarkably well.

That may sound contradictory, but once you try it, I think you'll immediately understand what I mean.

The overall width is 47 mm, but we pushed the effective trapeze width as far as possible,

so I think you'll find it noticeably easier to land tricks than the numbers alone might suggest.

Although it belongs to the HG Series, this is not simply a continuation of the previous shape.

I took another look at what I need from a yo-yo today and rebuilt the concept around those elements.

At the same time, its spin power and controllability clearly carry forward the lineage of its parent model, Heterogeneity.

The other mowl Ambassadors have also responded very positively to it.

I've heard that its persistent spin makes it especially strong not only for technical tricks,

but for horizontal play as well.

I hope you'll experience both sides of Overgeneity for yourself — its power and its agility.

<Artwork>

The artwork of the Heterogeneity Series has consistently featured

angels, devils, and clouds from the very beginning,

using these motifs to express the individual character of each model.

For Overgeneity, the central motif is an angel who has now grown into adulthood.

The devil that once coexisted alongside the angel throughout the Heterogeneity Series

is intentionally absent.

The conflict and uncertainty that once existed within have reached a point of resolution:

the devil has disappeared, leaving behind an evolved form embodied by the angel.

The angel spreading its wings wide represents a presence

that carries forward the lineage of the series while moving beyond what came before.

The story built from Heterogeneity,

the coexistence of opposing forces, and the individuality born from that tension —

Overgeneity inherits all of these elements

and brings them together as one expression of evolution.
