Type-2 is a beginner model specialized for string tricks and designed with a contemporary approach.

Released this June for mowl®’s 9th anniversary, the original Round One Type-1 was widely praised as an accessible, well-balanced, all-round beginner yo-yo.

While Type-1 features an all-purpose performance and a classic silhouette,
Type-2 takes a modern direction, fully focused on supporting string-trick progression.

By adopting the distinctive H-profile of the “M”, Type-2 delivers the iconic soft and gentle feel of the M-series—despite being a responsive beginner model.

Round One Type-2 also features acrylic caps, giving the yo-yo a glossy, polished appearance.

It is a yo-yo designed as the perfect “gateway to 1A,” ideal for players preparing to challenge their first string tricks.
