Introducing "Round One", the first beginner model from mowl®
This year marks the 9th anniversary of mowl®.
In November of last year, we opened our first flagship store, mowl Osaka, and have since continued to grow, gradually establishing our roots in the city of Osaka.
Since launching our full-scale operations in Osaka, we’ve received many invitations to participate in events outside the yo-yo industry.
However, we often had to decline these opportunities due to one simple reason—we didn’t have a beginner-friendly yo-yo.
At mowl®-hosted events, we tried our best to accommodate newcomers by heavily lubricating our aluminum performance models to create a responsive setup.
But the handling was still difficult, and the required maintenance often became a burden. These challenges constantly weighed on our minds.
Round One is the answer to all those years of questions, encounters, and experiences.
It is our very first beginner model, finally brought to life after nine years—crafted to support and inspire those taking their very first step into the world of yo-yo.

"Round One" is a beginner-friendly yo-yo made using 3D printing technology.
While mass production using molds is the conventional approach,
we chose to take a different path.
To truly understand what children and first-time players are looking for in a yo-yo,
we prioritized direct interaction and hands-on learning.
By leveraging the unique advantages of 3D printing—such as the ability to flexibly update shapes and specifications as needed—
we set out to create a yo-yo that genuinely supports each user’s very first step.

How to Purchase
Sales will begin on Friday, June 6, 2025, starting at mowl Osaka, followed by the mowl Online Store and Yo-Yo Shop Nest.

Creating a beginner-friendly model has long been a dream for us at mowl®—
a goal we've pursued with care and intention.
